Exodus Transportation – Ride Request Policies

  • When you submit a request, you will receive a text or email confirmation once it is approved.
  • Rides must be paid in full no later than 24 hours before the scheduled trip.

Rider Eligibility

To ride with Exodus Transportation, clients must:

  • Not have any viral or physically contagious condition that could affect drivers.
  • Be able to sit upright in a seat or wheelchair.
  • If using a wheelchair:
  • Weigh 300 lbs or less.
  • Have a wheelchair no wider than 32 inches (wheel to wheel).
  • Have accessible entry/exit at home without steps.
  • If ambulatory: Be able to enter and exit the front seat using a small stool.
  • Have paid for the ride in advance.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled ride to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations

Requests by Organizations

If a hospital, rehab facility, or other organization requests a ride on behalf of a client:

  • The client must understand and agree to the total cost of the ride.
  • The client must agree to all payment policies.

Insurance & Medicaid

  • Exodus Transportation does not file claims with insurance providers.
  • If your insurance covers non‑emergency medical transportation, you may use the detailed receipt we provide after service to submit your own claim.
